Papertrey Ink April Blog Hop

This is my first time participating in the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop.
Thank you for stopping by.
This month's challenge is to use tissue paper. I decided to pleate the tissue paper to make a border. I sewed it to a strip of cardstock to hold it in place. Using the sewing machine always scares me because I don't really know what I'm doing. I need more practice, I think.
Hop on to the blog hop thread on the Papertrey Ink forums to see more great projects using tissue paper.
Supplies Used: cardstock: Bazzil and DCWV
patterned paper: October Afternoon
stamps: Scattered Showers, Papertrey Ink and Imaginesce
ink: Versafine (black) and CTMH (red velvet)
corner rounder: Creative Memories
foam adhesive: Creative Memories

"Cute" is definitely the word, Christi! I'm right there with you on not really knowing what I'm doing with the sewing machine, but ya just gotta go for it to learn, and you did! Isn't Scattered Showers fun to work with?

Your sewing looks awesome! I love the card. I keep wanting to try sewing on my cards...my new sewing machine is still in its box. I think I might have to get it out and play with it.
