This week's color combination at ColorQ was my inspiration for this card.

I inked up the Papertrey Ink Round & Round anniversary set for this card.

I also repurposed a container that originally held Making Memories blossoms into a cute little gift holder. I used the same dotted stamp on vanilla cardstock and backed it with green and kraft.

This month's challenge is to use felt. I pulled out these American Crafts felt flowers from my stash and paired them with Papertrey Ink's Blooming Button Bits and some Ocean Tides cardstock.

Here's one more card using the Page Maps blog sketch. I played with ruffling ribbon on this one. It looks pretty neat with the organza ribbon.

This is my take on the sketch. I made this card for my cousin's graduation and used his school's colors for the card.

Papertrey Ink April Blog Hop

This month's challenge is to use tissue paper. I decided to pleate the tissue paper to make a border. I sewed it to a strip of cardstock to hold it in place. Using the sewing machine always scares me because I don't really know what I'm doing. I need more practice, I think.
